The River Thames
Take a walk along London’s lively River Bank. Learn the history and legends of London Bridge. As you stroll along you’ll discover the Golden Hinde at Pickford’s Wharf. Here, you’ll find a replica of the ship in which Sir Francis Drake sailed around the world.

Along the way you’ll be able to visit the original and new sites of the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre as well as the renowned Tate Modern Museum. Other stops during the tour include the Clink Prison, which held heretics during medieval times, and Bear Gardens, which was the venue for a rather gory sport now banned!

Seeing 7 x 7

San Francisco’s seven by seven square mile area makes it a perfect city for exploring by foot and its 50+ hills make this exploration an adventure.

International Flare in Edinburgh

Besides its beautiful castle, Edinburgh is well known for its annual International Festival, which runs from August to September. This arts festival began in 1947 and has since exploded into an international affair. Artists, actors, musicians and dancers come from around the world to perform in Scotland’s capital city.



While you are there, be sure to soak in Edinburgh’s heritage by exploring Old Town and New Town. Stroll down Princes street for some of the city’s best shopping then take a breather in Princes gardens where you will find an intriguing floral clock.

Across the gardens you’ll enter old town. Take a tour of Edinburgh castle as well as the many squares in Old Town that feature the city’s Parliament offices. Along the way you’ll discover the Witches Memorial where over 300 women were burned as witches between 1479 and 1722. You’ll also pass by grassmarket, full of lively pubs and traditional Scottish goods.

Take note of the theatres and museums while you explore, as many of the festival events are hosted there.
