The living showcase of the amazing Rocky Mountains provides the opportunity for a breathtaking adventure. Trail Ridge Road, in Rocky Mountain National Park, is the highest continuously paved highway in the United States. Our 90-minute audio tour guides you along this invigorating 40-mile drive which begins in Estes Park, climbs to an elevation of 12,183 feet before taking you down to Grand Lake. Your views will be of verdant valleys and meadowlands, majestic mountain peaks, canyons cut by glaciers, and delicate alpine tundra. With a watchful eye, you are sure to see many of the park's abundant birds and wildlife. In addition to being guided, you'll be hearing information and unique stories told by our featured park rangers.There is no map to accompany these audio files, but the National Park will provide one.
