Walk the streets of Valletta, on this new tour of Malta:

Located just south of Sicily, the Republic of Malta is one of the seven archipelago islands in the Mediterranean Sea. Throughout history, the island has had many rulers, but the Roman and Arab influences have left the most lasting impression. Much of the remaining temples and artwork show strong Roman flavor, and the modern Maltese language contains much Arab influence. The Knights of Malta became the military religious order that governed Malta beginning in the early 1500s, and under their rule the city of Valletta was born.

That brings us to the ChooseMalta walking tour of Valletta. This tour is divided into four parts covering over 45 site descriptions. As you walk through this beautiful city, built by gentlemen for gentlemen, you will be exposed to a multitude of attractions including The Manoel Theatre, Auberge de Castille, The Palace, and Fort St. Elmo. With your iPod and map in hand you have the freedom to experience this island city at your own pace. For more this and other tours in and around Italy, visit the Tourcaster website.
